What is the grooming requirements for fire academy? I have hair just touching my shoulders and for medical reasons like skin condition and scarring I don’t want to cut it that short.

If your a female it has to be worn pinned up usually, but every jurisdictions have different standards.

Private is a company that makes a profit as in a business. Rural Metro is a well known private fire dept that started in Scottsdale, AZ

Preference mainly but regulations vary from state to state, but there are sometimes certain designs have to be placed on the rigs.
