I had a horrible experience with a garden fire which started when I was asleep. Ended up fine but I keep thinking about what would have happened if it had got into the roof. My roof is insulated with super glass but would this prevent a blaze?

Have you ever took valuables out of a burning building before? I would assume objects isn’t a top priority even if it’s expensive or important but have you ever done it?

Yes, during overhaul or if we have time to get things out but it depends on staffing. I currently operate a 1 man Engine and I cover approx 100 sq miles by myself with back up 20 miles away. So with that said my time is very limited to do alot of things, lol.

Parking in front of hydrant, fire lane and not moving to the right when we are responding top the lists.

Yes, especially elderly or woman in distress for safety issues.

All of the time besides my sons being deputies. We rely on LE for assistance on many calls.
